Empower Your Health Journey

  • You deserve clarity, not confusion. The American food system is designed to confuse you. Contradictory advice online, misleading marketing, and zero guidance on how to actually navigate it all with a real-world budget and schedule.

Every person's situation is different—your budget, your time, your health concerns, your food access. That's why I offer personalized nutrition counseling that actually fits YOUR life.

  • Every person's journey is different, which is why this program is fully individualized. We'll spend time on what YOU need most, which may include:

    • General nutrition and exercise recommendations tailored to your life

    • Debunking weight loss misinformation (because social media has made this impossibly confusing)

    • Food-related stressors — emotional eating, time constraints, family dynamics, cultural considerations

    • Food and nutrient tracking strategies that don't consume your life

    • Realistic meal planning that works with your schedule and budget

    • Identifying where YOU struggle most — and creating practical solutions

    • Education for continued success long after our sessions end

Insurance note: If you're pursuing weight loss medications, this program fulfills most insurance requirements for pre-authorization. I'll provide the necessary documentation for your physician.

  • I want to work outside of the corporate healthcare grind because I was tired of watching the system prioritize billing over people. Tired of seeing patients rushed through appointments, given cookie-cutter advice that ignores their budget, their time, their culture, and their actual barriers to change. Instead, empower them to make the best decisions for them.

Stewart Nutrition Counseling exists because you deserve better.

“….prior to meeting Jason, Sammy would have said he didn’t like zucchini and written it off forever. He is now much more open to trying new things and he looks forward to talking with Jason. He is positive and really helps you see the successes you’ve made. We’ve already learned so much from him and look forward to continuing this journey with him on our team!”

  • "We walked away with practical tips, helpful pointers and most importantly, with realistic attainable goals. We’ll be seeing him every three months for check-ins and to keep building on the foundation we’ve started. If anyone is looking for a dietitian for their kiddo, I highly recommend him!"

—Cassie Bennett (from WNY Sugar Momma’s FB page)

  • “We have been working with Jason for almost a year now. My son, Sammy, is a type 1 diabetic and we (the adults) fell into some poor habits after diagnosis for the sake of ease/convenience. Jason never made us feel bad for using prepared foods and instead offered encouragement and support in making changes”

    —Sammy’s Mom

  • "My older daughter (13) had an appointment with Jason Stewart, a Registered Dietitian at Strong, yesterday and I’m so grateful to the other moms who recommended him!"

  • "My personal life is very demanding with three young children. This makes it hard to take care of oneself. That is where Jason comes in, he has been a nutritional coach to me, motivating me to try and mark small weekly changes , which eventually help with shaping my future help. As a mother, we often deal with an array of emotions and our eating patterns are governed by those. He has tremendously helped me to start my wellness journey."

    —Dr. Shah (Former Client)

  • "Jason helped me understand the shift to MyPlate and how fueling with vegetables and protein is key to my performance as an athlete."

  • "Registered Dietitian" (RD/RDN) is a protected credential requiring a bachelor's degree, supervised practice, a national exam, and ongoing education. We're qualified to provide medical nutrition therapy for diagnosed conditions.

"Nutritionist" isn't regulated in most states—anyone can use that title without formal training.

  • I'm currently working on establishing relationships with insurance providers. In the meantime, I can provide you with a superbill (detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many insurance plans cover nutrition counseling, especially for conditions like diabetes and heart disease.

Service fee for initial 60min appointment $150, standard 30min follow up $75, can be scheduled for a longer time frame upon request.

  • Service fee for initial 60min appointment $150, standard 30min follow up $75, can be scheduled for a longer time frame upon request.

  • Initial sessions are typically 60-90 minutes. Follow-ups are usually 30-45 minutes.

Meeting frequency depends on your needs. The Comprehensive Weight Loss Program requires at least monthly sessions for 3 months. For other services, we might start every 2-3 weeks and adjust based on what works for you.

  • I provide meal planning support and examples, but not rigid "eat exactly this" plans. Instead, I teach you the skills to make your own informed choices. That way you understand what you're doing and why—so you're not dependent on a piece of paper when life gets unpredictable.

  • We’ll work with YOUR life—whether that's religious dietary laws, cultural traditions, food allergies, vegetarian/vegan preferences, or celiac disease. Your food is part of your identity, and we'll build your plan around what actually works for you.

  • You didn't fail—the approach probably wasn't right for YOUR specific barriers. We focus on what's actually getting in YOUR way (time, food access, emotional eating, etc.) rather than giving everyone the same generic advice. Plus, you're not doing it alone this time.

  • Yes. The Comprehensive Weight Loss Program fulfills most insurance requirements for medications like Ozempic, Mounjaro, or Zepbound, and I'll provide documentation for your doctor. If you're already on medication, ongoing nutrition support helps manage side effects and ensures adequate nutrition. Check with your specific insurance policy of weight loss medication coverage before starting weight loss program.

Note: I can't prescribe medications (only your doctor can), and they're not right for everyone.

  • Honest answer? It depends on what you're willing to work on and whether we're a good fit. I can't promise easy changes or specific numbers. What I CAN promise: no shame, no impossible advice, and real support in figuring out what works for YOUR life.
